Nicole Payne, President, thanked her outgoing Board and Chairpersons with certificates and orchids at the April meeting!
We are looking for exceptional people who are interested in becoming more active in their community, improving the issues of working women and meeting the women of the area.
We enjoy ourselves while enhancing our mission to "support women and families by fostering equity in the workplace and community, building strong relationships among women, supporting local charities, sponsoring scholarships, and creating empowered women who have a positive impact on our local communities."
Meetings
Our meetings have two levels of focus:
There are no requirements to attend a certain number of meetings or to contribute in any way. Be careful, however, because there are so many interesting ways to serve that you may find yourself volunteering before you have finished your first meeting. Our current Treasurer Terry Phillips was just attending her first meeting when she was invited and consented to serve as our Treasurer. Her experience with several different organizations was perfect and we were in need of someone who could take the position. We love volunteers!

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS
Our meeting fees are $25 for members and $28 for non-members. You can pay using the Payment page and then send your reservation in using this link to our Event Reservation Page. Just type your name in the message section and say you will be an attendee at our next meeting.
We do need to have your reservation by the Friday noon prior to the Monday meeting. Mangrove Bay must make food plans at that time. BPW is required to pay for all no shows, so those who made reservations but do not show will be charged for their dinners, except in the case of extreme family emergencies such as a death in the family. Whereas we recognize that plans change, we want to use our scholarship money wisely. If you find that you can come to a meeting or you have a guest who can come at the last minute, call Candy Koester and let her know. We can handle late confirmations but not cancellations. Thank you!
Welcome!
We look forward to seeing you!
